Recommendation to Parents

Recommendation to Parents

  • (1) In order to secure all that is best in the education of our children, Parents/Guardians are expected to co-operate with the School authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline and by ensuring that they prepare their lessons daily and take an active interest in the activities of the School.
  • (2) Parents/Guardians are informed that regular reports about the conduct of students and remarks from the teachers are conveniently sent through the Dairy. We earnestly recommend that parents or guardians should look into their children's School Dairy every day and see to it that lessons and homework assigned for the next day are dine. They should also keep an eye on the Leave and Absence Record.
  • (3) Parents are particularly expected to sign Messages from the Principal, Teachers, Periodic Report, Weekly Reports or any other similar documents when so requested. Failure to do this may put their children to great inconvenience and render them liable of being sent home. Repeated lateness or forgetting to bring books, may result in being debarred from joining the class.
  • (4) If a pupil is to be absent due to illness for more than 3 days, the Principal must be informed at once.
  • (5) Private tuitions are strongly discouraged. No tuition may be taken from the teacher who teaches the pupil's own class.
  • (6) Parents, guardians or other persons are NOT allowed to see the students or interview their teachers during School hours without the permission of the Principal.
  • (7) There will be "Open Days" regularly where Parents/Guardians are free to meet the class teacher and subject teachers concerning the performance of their child. Parents and Guardians are expected to acknowledge the expertise and dedication of teachers in their profession. Avoid speaking negatively about teachers in front of your ward. Demonstrate respect for authority figures and teachers to set a positive example for your ward. In case of any disagreements, discuss and try to resolve the issue with the Principal/teacher as early as possible.
  • (8) As your child advances in age, guide her to become a resourceful and useful member of both home and country. Encourage self-help in work and study. She should be taught to keep the house tidy, do personal work (polish her own shoes, etc.). The formation of such habits early in life inculcates in her the idea of the dignity of work, a fundamental personal virtue for a successful career in life.
  • (9) Withdrawal of your ward from class, for social functions is not recommended because it retards their progress in School and minimizes their respect for regular hard work.
  • (10) Parents/Guardians are specially requested to notify the School for any change in their address and Phone Number. Parents/Guardians should kindly furnish their specimen signatures in the space provided at the top of the absence record. When writing to the school authorities about your child, always quote the full name and the standard and division of the child.
  • (11) Parents are requested to check that students don’t bring mobile phones or any other electronic device to school.
  • (12) It is very much appreciated when parents respond readily to the invitation sent to them to attend the Parent-Teacher Meetings and other school events. It is only with the cooperation of the parents that the school can promote the all round development of students.
  • (13) No child suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should be sent to school.
  • (14) Parents are kindly requested to acquaint themselves with the rules arid regulations of the school and see that their wards abide by them.
  • (15) The School will not be responsible for any casualty which is beyond its control.
